ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. The organization ISO is responsible for establishing and managing thousands of different standards. Most of these are product oriented, but some standards at generic management. By far the best known is the ISO 9001, which refers to the management system for quality.
The environmental risk is the most important part of the standard. This analysis contains an assessment of environmental risks for all forms of possible pollution. The controlmanagement must be determented, which are then processed in an environmental plan. The development of an environmental management system should be well adapted to the nature, scale and complexity of the organisation.

REACH European directive for chemicals
REACH (European Directive No. 1907/2006) stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals. According to REACH, all the companies in the supply chain of a chemical (producers, importers, clients) are responsible for the safe use thereof and must record and limit the risk to people and/or the environment.
In addition to that, it is important that the risks of the substances are made known to the clients, consumers and employees so they know how to handle the substances safely.
